We’re embarking on a personal journey to reimagine the Kiwi dream home one that marries beautiful design and Passive House performance. The first time I felt what a high-performance home could do was back in 2012 in Queenstown just two of guys inside a sealed space, no heaters, yet cosy and warm while the snow feel outside. That experience stayed with me.

Now, we’re looking to create our own. We know there’ll be challenges like sticking to our budget as we are the clients and will be making the decisions, design tweaks, maybe even tricky ground but we’ll share all of it. We’re aiming to push the envelope of what we think should be the new standard of New Zealand homes not just building to meet code (the worst house you can legally build) but building homes for a better future that are stylish but also perform in any conditions that are energry efficent, as this brings down the cost of every day life.
